Three Relatively Obscure Movies For Geeks, Aspergers, And Indigos
1 ~ A.I. Artificial Intelligence
I have a friend who fits all three categories - geek, Asperger's, and Indigo. He loves this movie and, although he is an adult, he identifies strongly with the main character, a little boy played by Haley Joel Osment. This is a fascinating film from Steven Spielberg. Be warned that it is very sad in many ways.

2 ~ The Last Mimzy
This is another favorite of my geek Asperger Indigo friend whom I mentioned above. I like this movie better than A.I. because it is not as sad and has a happier ending. Of the three films on this page, The Last Mimzy is the most suitable for children (and wonderful for adults as well).

Books That Include The Short Story On Which The Film Was Based ~ "Mimsy Were the Borogoves"
3 ~ Bicentennial Man
Although Bicentennial Man stars Robin Williams, it is not a comedy. There is much to ponder in this poignant film. Plot elements remind me of the struggle Arwen faces in The Lord Of The Rings, as she, an immortal elf, falls in love with a mortal man.
